Rating
I purchased the 25W Hagen Fluval Edge heater for the Fluval Edge 6 gallon aquarium through a seller for Amazon. No problem with the seller but the heater does NOT maintain the preset temperature of 78°. It maintains 75° at best in a room with an ambient temperature of 68° According to the tape-on Fluval Edge thermometer the water temperature is closer to 72° but I thought that was wrong, so I bought a better thermometer and it confirmed my suspicions. The heater does not keep the tank at 78° and this disallows keeping most tropical aquarium fish.

Again, the Fluval Edge thermometer is a waste all together. It does essentially nothing.
