Aqua Clear's power filter is a good one. It has different size such as 5-20 gallon, 10-30 gallons and etc. For a 10 gallon tank a 5-20 gallon should suffice.
I am using Aqua Clear also. It's good and also easy to clean.

I would recomend to check out your local fish store and see what filters they carry, I use the filter from marineland with a bio weel, its been running for over 3 years and have no problems with it at all, and with the water splashing noise effects can be eliminated bye topping of your water tank

Aqua-tech filter should be fine, they are just a cheap filter but I have one in with my cichlids and it works well. The only problem with them I find is there is no flow regulator to turn down the current which I like when I am keeping bettas.Make sure what ever filter you decide on the cartridges are easy to get in your area.
